Our Story

Adunay Honoria is a representation of the women in my family. I grew up surrounded by fierce and distinct women, especially my late maternal grandmother, Honoria, who had come from an ancestry of lumad people in Agusan del Sur. Living in the province, she was the perfect example of a probinsyana. Wearing the same dasters in rotation, waking up to the sound of roosters against the sunrise you could almost touch, cooking the heartiest meals in her kubo. She told me simple stories of her past, how Pipang—my grandfather—fell for her groovy dance moves in a baylihan. I found myself yearning for my childhood in the province that I have not visited since she passed. All I have left is nothing but memories and nostalgia for the years that I never thought would end. Her bahay kubo with the river flowing behind, her aspin named ulitawo (binata), her bag (a basket) with all of her belongings. Now, it feels like a crime not having any photo or memento of my grandmother and so I am creating this brand so she lives on—who she was and what she believed in. By wearing our clothes, I hope I get to share to you a piece of my Mimang and let you feel what it’s like to be such a woman as her—or in other words—adunay Honoria.

Our Brand

We are a Filipino clothing brand based in Davao City, launched last July 18, 2026—founded and led by an all-women team. We design and create clothes for women, drawing inspiration from the lives of Filipinas, the charm of probinsyanas, and Filipino nostalgia. With a desire to remember the stories that shape us, we reimagine cherished memories through our designs—each piece is a little reminder of our roots, the women who came before us, and the stories we will continue to carry.
