Aparador ni Kakie
Aparador ni Kakie is the final leg of our pilot trilogy collection that shares the story of the brand. When I was 4, my family moved to Butuan City from a small town in Agusan del Sur. Overtime we would visit the province frequently and each time we do, I always learn something new about my family. How my grandparents met, the childhood lives of my mom and aunties, the Agusan Marsh and so on. This collection is the same—it will be showcasing how I viewed the women in my family (our brand's inspiration) as a kid. Aparador ni Kakie is a collection of pieces that are taken from my own childhood, Mimang our lola, my mother, and my sister, the women who shaped who I am today and by extension, the brand. With their personalities and traits as the core, ninanais namin na madama niyo ang dampi ng probinsyana from a family and sisterhood of girls from a small province in Agusan.
